Check out Andy Butler's best bits in this video tribute as he Saddles up for his Walsall return just months after ending a four-year spell with the club.

The 30-year-old central defender only made the switch from the Banks's to Bramall Lane in the summer but is back after making just one appearance to date for his new club.

His return will boost a Saddlers defence which has been depleted by injuries to James Chambers and Ben Purkiss among others.

"The opportunity has arisen for Andy to go out on loan and get some games, and we're only too happy to have him back here," said Smith.

"He can help us get back on track and is someone who knows exactly how we work and will fit in straight away.

"We were sad to see him leave during the summer but fully understood the reasons behind his decision.

"It hasn't quite happened for him yet at Sheffield United, but in the meantime we're delighted to be able to bring him in for a month.

"His return will give us all a boost."

Butler spent the best part of four seasons with the Saddlers before opting to leave in the summer, citing the pressures of commuting from his Yorkshire home.

He signed a two-year deal with the Blades in June but has not been part of manager Nigel Clough's plans in recent weeks and several clubs, including the Saddlers, had been linked with a loan deal.
