The 29-year-old scored 16 goals for the Saddlers this term and is the biggest name on the club's released list.

Troy Hewitt, Danny Griffiths, Shane Lewis, Liam Roberts, Nicky Featherstone, Ben George and James McQuilkin have also all been told by manager Dean Smith that their services are no longer required.

"We thank them for their efforts," said Smith. "At this time of the year decisions have to be made and we wish each of them well in the future."

The club have confirmed discussions are ongoing with Andy Butler, James Chambers, Andy Taylor, Ben Purkiss, Kieron Morris and Jake Heath.

One-year options have been taken up on emerging youngsters Matt Preston and Reece Flanagan, while experienced defender Dean Holden has accepted a player-coach role for the 2014/15 campaign.

Winger Ashley Hemmings will be spoken to after his season with Burton Albion, where he is currently on loan, comes to a conclusion.

Richard O'Donnell, Adam Chambers, Sam Mantom, Paul Downing, Malvind Benning, James Baxendale, Romaine Sawyers, Amadou Bakayoko and Liam Kinsella are the players already under contract for next season.
