Walsall boss Dean Smith: Players ready to bounce back

Walsall FC's Dean Smith has said his side will be determined to bounce back from defeat to Crawley Town.

After their second home defeat in a row, Smith said:"I felt that we played some terrific stuff, particularly in the last 25 minutes of the first half and during the second period.

"In the end we should have got something out of this game."

Walsall lost their last home game to MK Dons and Smith added: "It was a much improved performance from our last home game as we followed on from our display at Peterborough. It's just unfortunate that outside elements affected the result.

"I won't need to pick the lads up; they will be determined to get back into winning ways in our next game.

"It's about concentrating on how we can influence games and focussing on the next challenge."
