Craig Westcarr confident of a Walsall win against Wolves
Craig Westcarr says Walsall are heading to Wolves tonight with no fear and confident of pulling off a shock.
The forward believes the Saddlers have taken great confidence from their performance in this month's Johnstone's Paint Trophy game at Molineux, which they lost on penalties after pushing the hosts all the way.
And he is relishing the prospect of facing Kenny Jackett's side once more.
"We have no fear and we had no fear when we went there last time," he said.
"Why can't it be the same this time around? We want to put in the same kind of performance we did then. It will be a different game and a derby and we will be up for it.
"These are the games you want to play in.
"From a personal point of view, I want to play in the big and exciting games.
"Hopefully we can do the business."
Westcarr scored twice in Saturday's 3-0 win at Crewe but played a wider role as manager Dean Smith made a tactical change.
And the 28-year-old says he is happy to play wherever the manager tells him.
"At other clubs when we have played that system I've featured on the wing," he said.
"I'm happy to play in the centre, on the right or left, wherever the gaffer wants me to play.
"We go into every game thinking we can win and we have been unlucky. At Crewe we went into it, played a different way and it worked."
