Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr today vowed "the bar has been raised" regardless of the final view of the promotion picture.

Harriers host third-placed Mansfield in tomorrow's curtain call at Aggborough and must win, while hoping Luton lose at Fleetwood.

Should that scenario pan out, Burr's men would jump over Luton and into the last play-off spot on the final day of the Blue Square Premier campaign.

Harriers haven't been this close to a place in the end-of-season lottery since 2009, when they needed to beat Ketteringat home in the last game.

That day, they needed either Torquay or Stevenage to lose and the latter duly obliged - only for Mark Yates' side to be beaten 1-0 by the Poppies.

This time, Burr has told his side to fcous on beating the Stags, forget about what is happening elsewhere and hopes the chips fall where they may.

But, whatever happens, the Harriers boss believes the players have a right to be proud of what they have achieved this season.

He said: "Hopefully, we won't be giving our all for one last time, we have got another crack at it and things could go for us.

"What we do know is that that a win gives an opportunity to get into the play-offs - whatever happens elsewhere will happen.

"The bar has been raised, without a shadow of a doubt, we have been written off a few times this season but we are still here."

Burr also revealed there's a "good chance" Ryan Rowe will start, with striker Nick Wright struggling with a knee injury.

Midfielders Jack Byrne and Kyle Storer will be given late fitness tests, with both suffering from hamstring strains.

Mansfield come to Aggborough having already secured their play-off berth and lost 3-0 to Harriers at Field Mill in September.

But Burr said: "We put in one of our best performances of the season to secure a thoroughly comfortable win.

"Since then things have certainly changed for them and they have been on a terrific run almost ever since.

"They are playing with a lot of confidence and it will be a difficult game for us tomorrow."
