Walsall's young stars offered deals

Walsall today offered professional contracts to five members of their successful youth team.

Left-back Malvind Benning, forward Aaron Williams, centre-back Jamie Tank, right-back Ben George and winger Kieron Morris have all been offered deals for next season.

Boss Dean Smith said: "It's been a fantastic year for the youth team. They have played some good stuff and only lost two league games all season.

"We've had a good crop of youngsters, each of whom has done well, but five of the second-year lads have been rewarded."
