STOURBRIDGE allowed a second half lead to slip as they lost out 2-1to Nottingham based Basford United in the Southern League Premier Central.
Tyler Lyttle fired Stourtbridge in front on 57 minutes with a sublime lob that left Basford goalkeeper Kieran Preston completely stranded.
But Basford hit back when Kevin Da Silva Bastos rifled home on 66 minutes.
That was the signal for Basford to push forward and they duly sealed victory when substitute Brad McGowan netted from an inswinging with three minutes remaining.
