But the real Stourbridge hero was Glassboys goalkeeper Charlie Price who saved a 61st minute penalty when he got down low to keep out Mitch Botfield's spot kick.
Price also pulled off another vital save on 79 minutes when he charged off his line to keep out Church striker Kevin Da Veiga Monteiro who'd been put clean through with only the goalkeeper to beat.
The result puts Stourbridge in amongst the play-off places as their season starts to gether force.
