Stourbridge 4 Redditch United 1 - Report
The Glassboys tightened their grip on second spot with a compelling success over local rivals Redditch.
Aaron Forde fired Stourbridge in front with a pin-point header from Greg Mills 20th minute cross having had a goalbound shot beaten out by Redditch goalkeeper Adam Whitehouse just four minutes earlier.
Reds responded within three minutes when Robbie Bunn bundled the ball home Jack Storer's cross.
But Stourbridge were back in front again on 26 minutes fellow a spell of pin-ball in the Reds goalmouth following a Greg Mills corner.
Stourbridge striker Kaimon Anderson had at least two effort blocked on the line during an almighty scramble before Paul McCone powered the ball home from close range.
Impressive Stourbridge soon wrapped the game up after half time.
McCone made it 3-1 on 55 minutes when Reds failed to clear from a Mills free kick which saw the ball rebound off Stourbridge defender Jordaan Brown and fall favourably for McCone to make no mistake from close range.
Victory was sealed on the hour with a sublime second goal from the outstanding Forde who swapped passes with Mills before spotting Whitehouse off his line and lobbed him from fully 25 yards out.
