Stourbridge 3 Kidderminster 2 - Report and pictures
Gary Hackett's midas touch on the FA Cup struck again as Stourbridge came from two behind in the third qualifying round to beat Kidderminster Harriers 3-2.
At 2-0 down on 52 minutes against a full time side playing a league above them, most in the Amblecote crowd of 1,527 thought Stourbridge were beaten, but it seems they are never dead and buried.
A 12th minute goal from Ed Williams had put the Harriers in front in a first half they mainly controlled and when Ashley Chambers was held back for a penalty which substitute Joe Ironside converted on 52 minutes, Harriers were seemingly well in control.
But the introduction of Luke Benbow from the substitutes' bench on 57 minutes and his cross on 62 minutes saw Kaiman Anderson reduce the deficit.
Even then Kidderminster were probably slight favourites but when Aaron Forde saw a shot from 20 yards on 73 minutes come back out of keeper Brandon Hall's grasp and Anderson followed up to make it 2-2 it was game on.
It could have gone either way in the final 15 but Harriers' defender Ryan Johnson saw the ball bounce up on to his hand from a cross into the box on 77 and Forde cooly converted the penalty to put Stourbridge yet again into the fourth qualifying round.
