Dodd scrambled home three minutes after half-time to settle an uneventful match of few chances at the New Windmill.

Leamington edged the first-half action as Jack Edwards headed across goal for Junior English to be thwarted at full stretch by keeper Matt Gould in the 11th minute.

Edwards then had a flick from Connor Gudger’s centre well held by Gould but that brief flurry of action was no sign of things to come as the rest of the half passed without incident.

Dodd nudged in via the post after keeper Tony Breeden had got a glove on the initial stab towards goal shortly after the restart and the Glassboys could have been two up just before the hour as Dodd’s goal-bound effort was blocked by Breeden’s legs.

Gould saved from Kaine Felix 18 minutes from time with a follow up cleared off the line but Stourbridge saw out the last few minutes relatively comfortably.
