Play-off hopefuls Witton took a 13th minute lead when Josh Wardle’s high ball into the Boro box fell kindly for Billy Smart to slot past the goalkeeper.

Rangers responded well and on the 34th minute a quick move saw Bradley Grayson race clear before sending his effort wide.

On his debut Kidderminster Harriers loanee Brandon Diau steered home the equaliser following a ball into the visitors’ box.

After the break the Boro looked the stronger side and they saw a goalmouth scramble cleared before Diau headed an effort over.

However, it was Witton who went back ahead on 54 minutes courtesy of a sweetly hit volley from the boot of Smart.

The Boro fought back once again and captain Jonathon Moran turned home a 67th minute equaliser to make it 2-2.

Diau almost won the points nine minutes from time but missed with a close-range header as the Boro settled for a point.
