Stafford Rangers 2 Stalybridge Celtic 0 - Report
Stafford Rangers clinched their first league victory of the season thanks to a second half screamer from Joe Cuff followed by an Izak Reid penalty.
Midfielder Bailey-Jones was influential for the Boro from the start and on the 19th minute his cross found the head of Tom Marshall, but his effort was cleared off the line.
Rangers manager Steve Burr would have been disappointed as another defensive error almost allowed Stalybridge to take the lead but for a one-on-one save from goalkeeper Adam Whitehouse to deny John Marsden.
Rangers were holding on and on the 28th minute Celtic skipper Danny Brady rose to meet a corner and saw his effort fly off the post.
The Boro improved in the second half and they went ahead in the 66th minute when Cuff saw his strike fly into the top corner.
The three points were sealed with a second goal in the 80th minute when Izak Reid dispatched a penalty.
