Rangers go into the War Memorial Ground clash on the back of a 1-0 loss at Ashton United on Tuesday night.

“We should have got something from the Ashton game as we played some cracking stuff and had some good chances,” said Kitching, who is leaving Boro at the end of the season after four years in charge.

“That’s been the story of the season for us, really.

“We haven’t been consistent enough, we haven’t put away our chances on too many occasions and that is something for us to sort out – and the club and the next manager here will have to sort out for next year.

“Stourbridge is a tough, tough place to and this is our third of five games in the space of 10 days, which is bordering on ludicrous.

“We would love to get three points to push towards that top 10 finish which we want.”

Rangers are currently 14th in the Evo-Stik Premier, Stour are 15th.
