Neil Kitching was left lost for words after watching his Stafford Rangers side throw away victory today.

Boro were on course to record three successive league wins for the first time all season as Robbie Thompson-Brown and Kieran Morris put them 2-0 up at home to Lancaster City.

That scoreline would have moved them into the top 10 in the league, but they switched off in injury time and allowed substitutes Charlie Bailey and Joshua Gregory to snatch an unlikely point for the visitors.

"I'm really, angry because it's two soft goals," said Kitching.

"We were brilliant, played well, scored two good goals, and then it's a lack of game management with two minutes to go."

Boro took the lead 31 minutes in as Thompson-Brown's free-kick beat Elliot Wynne at his near post.

And six minutes into the second half, Thompson-Brown turned provider as his cross was headed in by Morris.

Brad Caswell had made just one save - a fine one to keep out Craig Carney - as the clock ticked over to 90 minutes, but was then beaten twice in added time.

First Bailey scored after a fine passing move, and then with the last kick of the game, Boro could not clear after Steven Williams headed Simon Wills' cross off the crossbar, and Gregory turned home the rebound.
