Stafford Rangers conceded in the second minute of injury time as nine-men Whitby Town snatched a 2-2 draw at Marston Road.

Rangers took the lead on 20 minutes when Robert Thompson-Brown’s free-kick flew into the net.

Joe Thomas doubled Boro’s lead before the break cutting inside and curling his shot into the bottom corner.

The visitors were handed a route back into the tie after 61 minute when Lewis Maloney slotted home from the penalty spot.

However, Whitby were reduced to ten-men seven minutes later with skipper Steven Snaith seeing red for punching Kyle Perry.

Both sides saw a further man sent home each before substitute Alex Patton fired home a deflected leveller to snatch a point.
