Stafford Rangers 0 Altrincham 2 - Report
Stafford slumped to defeat at the hands of league leaders Altrincham but boss Neil Kitching will be disappointed at the manner of the result.
Rangers were more than a match for their visitors for the opening hour but then cam unstuck when Jordan Poole picked up the ball and rounded home keeper Adam Whitehouse before tapping into an empty net.
The result was put beyond doubt 13 minutes from time when the Stafford defence failed to clear a corner and Ben Harrison was on hand to smash the ball home.
There was almost a third in the closing stages but Alty striker Jordan Hulme’s header hit the post.
