Boro have not played in the Evo-Stik Premier since losing 4-1 to Marine on December 2 due to snow in recent weeks.

And because of that, skipper Mat Bailey and full-back Sam Griffiths have had time to recover from ankle injuries.

Winger Joe Thomas has returned from a loan spell at Redditch United too.

“We are desperate to play a game. We have had six training sessions over the past two weeks, you want to be playing games,” said Kitching.

“We have got players back from injury and Joe is back from Redditch and looking very sharp in training.

“We have the full squad ready. We had a training ground friendly Tuesday amongst ourselves which was really good, we’re chomping at the bit.”

Rangers will be eager to get back to winning ways after losing their last three league games.

They are 17th in the table and Kitching’s aim at the start of the campaign was to push for the play-offs.

“We have got to start picking up some points again and go and turn things around,” he said.

“I don’t think it’s a lack of confidence from the lads, we just haven’t been at it over the last few games.

“And if you’re not quite at it, whether it’s top or bottom of the table you’re facing, you’re most likely going to get beat.”
