Shaw Lane 5 Stafford Rangers 2 - Report
Stafford paid the price for a nightmare opening half as they slumped to defeat at Shaw Lane.
The home side dominated the first 45 minutes, going in at the break with a four-goal lead which could have been more had it not been for a number of decent saves from visiting keeper Adam Whitehouse.
Damien Reeves hit the opener with Paul Clayton doubling the lead midway through the half.
Things went from bad to worse as Cameron Hough and Clayton added to the scoreline in the final three minutes.
Boro improved after the break with Dan Westwood scoring twice, the second from the spot. But a breakaway effort from Alex Byrne wrapped up the points for Shaw Lane with 20 minutes to go.
