Matches piling up for Stafford Rangers
Stafford Rangers boss Neil Kitching has conceded that 'something will have to give' as his side look towards a hectic second half of the season.
The Evo-Stik Premier Division outfit still have 28 league games to complete as well as fixtures in the FA Trophy, Staffordshire Senior Cup and Walsall Senior Cup.
Boro, who have had two scheduled Trophy clashes at Chorley postponed due to weather, go into their game with sixth-placed Matlock Town having patched up an injury-hit squad.
"It's crazy and concerning," said Kitching. "We'll have worse weather in the New Year.
"Fingers crossed it'll be better as the weeks go on but something's got to give for us."
Hednesford Town boss Paul Casey will be seeking his first win in charge as they head to Workington.
Having taken over after Liam McDonald's departure for Solihull Moors, Casey has overseen defeats to Stafford Rangers, Matlock Town and Coalville Town.
Halesowen Town, 16th in the table, make the trip to Marine.
In the Evo-Stik First Division South, Chasetown host Kidsgrove Athletic.
The Scholars are fourth in the table – seven points behind table-toppers Shaw Lane – while their Staffordshire rivals are 16th.
