The 28-year-old defender, who has played four times for the Caribbean Island, joins the Pitmen having spent last term at Chasetown.

He has also had spells at Stafford Rangers, Leamington, Rugby Town and Stratford Town in the past. Williams is looking forward to the challenge in the Evo-Stik Premier next term.

He said: "It is at a higher level for me, after spending last season with Chasetown. I have played for different sides in the non-league game, though, for a number of years.

"I definitely know what it takes to be up towards the top of a league and challenging for promotion.

"I've also the experience of playing in big games, having played qualifying matches for Montserrat.

"I played four times for them and it was a great experience and something that, hopefully, I can bring with me."
