Stafford Rangers left-back Ryan Brown could miss the FA Trophy replay at home to Rugby Town after picking up a hamstring strain in the first game.

Brown had to leave Saturday's 1-1 draw and was replaced by Oliver Davies, who made his competitive debut for Rangers and stands by for his first start.

Attacker Luke Bottomer is also out tomorrow night after his loan spell from full-time Tamworth came to an end, missing the weekend game through illness.

Rangers missed a hatful of chances to put the tie to bed on Saturday and secure a home tie against Ramsbottom United in the second qualifying round.

Lee Downes and Courtney Pitt had shots cleared off the line early on before Rangers fell behind and Rugby were down to 10 men before the equaliser.

Michael Carr had missed a penalty before levelling and Rangers boss Greg Clowes admitted his side need to convert their chances in front of goal.

Clowes said: "We must start turning pressure and possession into goals if we are to win.

"After the game, we went around the dressing room and eight players believed they had chances to score, you can't always point the finger at the strikers

"All of the lads were guilty of missed chances. On reflection we have had all the pressure, missed a penalty and had 20 chances to win the game.

"But the reality is we have to play well again to win."
