Danny Read doubt for Rangers opener

Stafford Rangers goalkeeper Danny Read could be a doubt for Saturday's big kick-off at Kendal after picking up an injury in their last pre-season friendly.

Read was hurt in Saturday's 2-0 win at Kidsgrove but the club have since revealed his knee is not seriously hurt, just swollen and heavily bruised.
