Stafford Rangers will be looking to give striker Danny Quinn the full 90 minutes in their pre-season friendly at Stone Dominoes.

Quinn signed on non-contract forms this week after his release from Hednesford and played the second-half of Tuesday's 5-0 win at Rocester.

Christian Dacres will also start in midfield on Saturday upon his return to Rangers for a second spell, after moving from Rushall Olympic.

Captain Michael Carr, Peter Heler and Karl Espley from last season's squad are also in contention after coming through training this week.

Despite registering a a 21-man squad this week, boss Greg Clowes will still run the rule over a number of trialists but Jemiah Richards has left.

The ex-Rangers defender is seeking another club with Liam Walshe, Jermaine Johnson, Karl Espley and Ryan Dicker all in his position.

But midfielder Liam Prince, right-back Ashley Edwards and winger Grant Jeffries will definitely figure as they look to find a club for next season.

Clowes said: "There might be the odd little one now that we will take on but what's been signed is what is going to start us off.

"From last year, we have got a stronger squad with a lot more experience at this level."

Despite going on trial at Hyde, defender Luke George could return to Rangers for next Saturday's friendly against Tamworth.

The 19-year-old was a contracted player last season but has only been offered a short-term deal to stay at Marston Road.

Clowes said: "We are hoping Luke will play for us against Tamworth, I think Hyde are going to make a decision on him by then.

"If it doesn't work out for him, he's been offered non-contract forms with us and it's up to him to decide now.

"I don't think bad of the lad for wanting to play at a higher level, we have never stopped anybody from doing that.

"But I feel he would benefit from another year with us."
