Rushall Olympic 3 Sheffield FC 1 - Report
Two goals from league goalscorer Jonathan Letford helped Rushall Olympic to a 3-1 victory over a determined and plucky Sheffield side.
After a goalless first half the game sprang to life five minutes into the second half when the Pics went ahead. A long clearance from goalkeeper Jonathan Flatt bounced kindly for Jonathan Letford to head over the advancing Jonathan Hedge in the Sheffield goal.
Eleven minutes later the scoreline was doubled when Alex Moore`s cross was headed home by Letford but with nineteen minutes remaining the visitors pulled a goal back when Rory Coleman fired home a fine long range left foot shot that gave Flatt no chance.
Five minutes from time the scoring was completed when Alex Moore tapped home from close range after Hedge made a terrific save to keep out a close range effort from Letford after some fine play between Lee Smith and Reece Mitchell.
