It was a battling performance from the Pics with most of the action coming in the first half.

Both sides had chances to go in front and the hard working Justin Richards went close to breaking the deadlock when he dragged a shot wide and then lobbed just over the bar.

The home side saw good efforts from Taylor Parr who saw his powerful header inches over and Lewis Irwin also headed over from close range.

The deadlock was broken eight minutes into the second half when Waldron shot home from the corner of the penalty area.

The Pics comfortably saw the game out for the remainder of the season and celebrated a hard fought victory.
