Kidderminster Harriers urged to bounce back by boss John Eustace
Boss John Eustace has urged his Kidderminster Harriers players to come up with a big response after last weekend’s FA Cup exit.
Harriers return to league action as they welcome Darlington to Aggborough, following a 4-2 first round Cup defeat at AFC Fylde – where Eustace felt ‘we let ourselves down’.
“I was very disappointed with how we did at Fylde, we all were,” said Eustace.
“We let ourselves down, especially defensively, on the day – we were not happy.
“It’s about coming up with the right response to that tomorrow.”
Harriers are 12th in National League North going into tomorrow’s clash.
The Quakers are 14th and have lost two of their three league outings since Tommy Wright became their manager – after Martin Gray left to take the reins at York.
Target man Mark Beck left the club this week to join Harrogate Town.
“It’s not going to be easy one, it’ll be a really tough game,” added Eustace.
“There is a new manager who will have a philosophy, fresh ideas, there now and they are a good team, have got good players.”
