Kidderminster Harriers attacker Dan Bradley set for another few weeks out
Kidderminster Harriers’ big money summer signing Dan Bradley is expected to spend ‘another few weeks’ on the sidelines with a knee problem.
The 28-year-old attacker was signed for £75,000 from AFC Fylde back in August, on a three-year deal.
He has only made 10 appearances due to various niggles though, and has missed the last two games with a knee complaint.
Harriers boss John Eustace said: “Dan has been out for the last couple of weeks.
“It’s a shame as he has not really got going for us yet.
“He has got a slight knee problem so he’ll be another few weeks.
“We are making sure that we get him right and hopefully he’ll show his quality when he’s back.”
Bradley has chipped in with an assist in his 10 appearances – six from the start, four as a substitute.
Liam Truslove has also been struggling with a knee injury.
He returned to the bench as Harriers lost 4-2 at Fylde in the FA Cup last weekend and could feature as they welcome Darlington to Aggborough on Saturday.
On his squad, Eustace said: “We are always looking to improve but we won’t be signing anyone in the short term.
“We have had a couple of injuries but we have a good set of players here.”
Meanwhile, two Harriers players represented England C last night.
Skipper Ryan Croasdale and goalkeeper Ryan Hall were part of a 16-man squad for the International Challenge Trophy final against Slovakia.
Both players have previously featured for England C – Croasdale made his debut earlier this year while Hall has featured four times since 2014.
“It’s great for them two, and great for Kidderminster Harriers,” said Eustace.
“They are getting picked ahead of players from the league above (the National League) so it just shows how well we have been doing here recently.”
England lost the match 4-0 to a Slovakian squad made up of under-23 players.
