The National League North side have snapped up the 20-year-old former Worcester City left-back on a one-year deal, but French midfielder Elton Ngwatala will not be signing a new deal as he is set to join an unnamed League One club.

Prior to his spell at Worcester, Keane played for Wolves, Notts County and Nuneaton Town.

He got nine goals and 14 assists last season.

On Ngwatala’s departure, Harriers chairman Colin Gordon said: “I am pretty sure he has (his next move sorted).

“He’ll be moving to League One as well as Arthur Gnahoua (who is now at Shrewsbury Town).

“They brought great excitement down here and were a massive part of what we did last year, so they go with our blessing.

“They came here on £150, both kicking their heels with nowhere to go.”

He added: “The first results we’ll be looking out for is theirs – we’re really excited for them because they’re great lads.

“We want to give the opportunity to other lads like that.”

Meanwhile, Halesowen Town supporters are urged to attend a fans’ forum at The Grove this Saturday.

The event, at the Yeltz’s James Grove Lounge at the stadium just off the A456, will give Town fans a chance to catch up with committee members, management and players ahead of the new campaign.

The forum gets underway at 6pm and is free admission.

An opportunity to meet and summon questions to the new chairman Karen Brookes as well as first-team boss John Hill and assistant Matt Clarke is up for grabs.

The Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division outfit get their campaign underway on August 12.
