Uni plan will help Harriers

New owner Colin Gordon reckons the creation of a "university-style structure" can help make Kidderminster Harriers self-sufficient.

Building on the club's current Academy set-up with Birmingham Metropolitan College and offering further education courses, is central to Gordon's vision for the future at Aggborough.

At present, the Academy offers coaching and sports qualifications to students aged between 16 and 18 but Gordon, who is now Harriers majority shareholder, believes expanding that can secure the club's finances..

"We are looking to create a university based around the business of football," he said.
