Harriers once again were undone by individual errors and Bromley were clinical in their finishing to make Harriers pay the ultimate price.

Bromley: Kettings, Rodgers (Udoji 28), Anderson, Swaine, Chorley, Dennis (Joseph-Dubois 80), Porter, Cook, Emmanuel, Holland. Subs not used: Prestedge, Goldberg, Francis.

Harriers: Palmer, Hodgkiss, Toner, Langmead, Tunnicliffe, Clarke, Maxwell (Dinsley 80), Jones, Campbell, Singh (Wright 46), Styche (Verma 75). Subs not used: Green, Snedker (gk)

Harriers temporary manager Colin Gordon was upbeat despite the loss.

"After just a one hour training session and a team meeting they have gone out and played great passing football," he said.

"The defenders were taking it from the keeper and passing, you don't have to play bish, bash, bosh to win games.

"I'm not bothered about getting a win, I'm bothered about playing the right way."

Jordan Jones making his first start for Harriers swept home a Gaz Singh centre after 20 minutes togive Harriers the lead, but their joy lasted just 17 mniutes.

Jared Hodgkiss was adjudged to have fouled Anthony Cook and Louis Dennis curled a 20-yard free-kick over the wall and beyond Alex Palmer into the right-hand corner of the net.

Harriers started the second half in the worst possible fashion.

Jordan Tunnicliffe had just received treatment following a clash of heads and his attempted clearance from Emmanuel Udoji's right-wing cross fell invitingly for Moses Emmanuel to fire home a 48th-minute goal.

Ten minutes later and Kelvin Langmead was adjudged to have tripped the lively Cook who got up to slam home the resultant penalty, breaking the net in the process.

Harriers showed a determined spirit and gave themselves hope when Tavhon Campbell jinked hisway in from the left to set up Jones and his long-range strike took a slight deflection before flying beyond the stranded Chris Kettings.

The final 20 minutes saw both sides go for another goal and Palmer saved bravely at the feet of Jack Holland, while at the other end Andre Wright guided a header narrowly over the angle from Jones' right- wing cross.

Try as they might, Harriers could not find the breakthrough as Bromley held on for the victory.
