Ken Rae to remain as Kidderminster Harriers chairman

Kidderminster Harriers today confirmed Ken Rae will continue as chairman on a permanent basis.

Rae took over on a temporary basis back in February following the sudden exit of Mark Serrell.

Today the club have ended speculation over his future as they begin planning for next season, having missed out on the Skrill Conference play-offs.

"It has been a difficult period for the club but I think everyone has worked tremendously hard to bring some positivity back to Aggborough over recent weeks," said Rae.

"As I outlined earlier in the week, the club is in a positive position both on and off the field after a challenging couple of months and a lot of work from top to bottom has already gone in to planning for the future.

"We're very positive."

Rae will be hoping to instil stability at Harriers after a tumultuous campaign which saw two managers sacked and Serrell resign after claiming he had been abused by fans on social media.
