The victory left Harriers in seventh place, three points off the play-off positions with just two games remaining.

Manager Gary Whild said: "We can only keep winning our games. It's now just one defeat in 11 but from our point of view we are running out of games."

Amari'i Bell, on loan from Birmingham City, followed up his first Harriers goal in Tuesday's 2-0 success over Cambridge United by netting a sixth-minute opener.

The 19-year-old midfielder stabbed home from close range when Liam Tomsett's block fell into his path.

On 34 minutes Harriers failed to clear Adam Blakeman's corner, the left-back was played in on the angle by Alex Brown and his shot across Danny Lewis went in.

But two goals in as many minutes turned the game in the visitors' favour.

On 75 minutes Michael Gash held off two challenges before drilling home a low drive before Amari Morgan-Smith made the points safe.
