Kidderminster lose to league strugglers Dartford ahead of FA Cup tie
Kidderminster Harriers seemed to have their minds on Saturday's FA Cup clash at Sunderland during last night's shock Skill Premier defeat against struggling Dartford at rain-soaked Aggborough.
Harriers trailed 2-0 at the interval and, despite pulling a goal back through Michael Gash, were unable to stop the Darts from ending a grim run of 12 league matches without a win.
It also enabled Dartford to complete an impressive league 'double' over Harriers who lost 3-0 at Princes Park in September.
Aggborough boss Andy Thorn said: "It was disappointing. It doesn't matter who you play, if you start like that and you don't do the basics right then that can happen.
"We totally dominated the second half and could have nicked something from the game, but everybody is disappointed because we know we are miles better than that."
Sixth placed Kidderminster's hopes of returning to the play-off zone suffered a setback as early as the third minute Dartford grabbed the lead with a header from Max Cornhill following a cross from Alex Woodyard.
