The 21-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation over recent weeks after he was watched by scouts from several league clubs.

Lolley had been linked with Peterborough United, who Harriers face in an FA Cup third round replay next Tuesday.

But Posh boss Darren Ferguson has revealed they have missed out and Lolley is instead heading to Huddersfield.

"Joe Lolley's agent wouldn't even let him come to see us at Peterborough," said Ferguson.

"I did speak to him after we played against Kidderminster, but a Championship club has now come in for him and it looks like he's heading there."

The move would continue the striker's prolific rise up the football pyramid.

Lolley has scored seven goals in 23 appearances for Harriers since joining in the summer from Midland Combination Premier outfit Littleton, where he scored 88 goals in 83 appearances.
