Woking end Kidderminster's FA Cup euphoria with league win

Kidderminster were brought back down to earth after the euphoria of their FA Cup win over Newport County as a 64th-minute Scott Rendell goal left them pointless in their aims to win promotion.

After a drab first half, in which the only point of note was a save from Danny Lewis to keep out a header from Ipswich loanee Jack Marriott, the second half at least was an improvement.

But it took a spark of brilliance from Kevin Betsy to eventually settle the game and give Woking a 1-0 win.

Keiran Murtagh linked with Betsy down the right flank, the winger then turned to go inside only to pull the ball back onto his right foot, outpace full-back Mickey Demetriou and deliver a low centre that Rendell converted.

Harriers tried in vain to get back into the game in the closing stages, substitute Marvin Johnson fired wide from long range.
