Kidderminster Harriers midfielder Kyle Storer today urged his side not to underestimate the threat posed by former club Nuneaton.

Nuneaton are bottom of the Blue Square Premier table and have won only once on the road in the league this season, ahead of Saturday's trip to Aggborough.

But Storer, who left the Warwickshire outfit to join Harriers in July 2011, has warned his team-mates that they cannot afford to take their opponents lightly.

He cautioned: "Nuneaton have got a few reasonable results recently. Although they have not been winning games, they have drawn matches against some good sides.

"They went down to Luton and drew 1-1 in the FA Cup to earn a replay and knocked out Telford in the previous round.

"They might be bottom of the table, but we shouldn't assume anything because of that.

"Obviously, I know some of the players from my time at Nuneaton who are still at the club and they will make sure we will be in for a tough game."

It will be the first time that Storer has faced Nuneaton, who won promotion via the Blue Square North play-offs last season.

And the 25-year-old insisted he will not approach the match differently to any other.

He said: "Of course you always look forward to matches against your old club. I had some good times at Nuneaton.

"I have no personal agenda against them or anything like that. To be honest, it is not really about me. It is all about the team getting a good result.

" The three points are the priority."

Steve Burr's side are currently 19th, out of the relegation places only on goal difference, but Storer believes they are in a false position.

He said: "A tough run of games at the beginning of the season probably hasn't helped us, but we know that we are a better side than we have shown.

"There are no major faults or problems. I just think it is just a matter of little breaks here and there in games which haven't gone our way.

"We will all stick together and work hard. A couple of wins and you can climb the table quite quickly."
