Kidderminster Harriers striker Nathan Blissett has been passed to face to make the trip to Woking for the Blue Square Premier game.

Blissett had to be replaced in Saturday's FA Cup defeat at home to Oldham after a clash of heads with Cliff Byrne, who was stretchered off.

Concerns raised when the 22-year-old suffered blurred vision afterwards but he reported back for training yesterday and completed the session.

The squad made the trip down to Surrey today for the game at the Kingfield Stadium with Blissett on the bus, so he should keep his place tonight.

The summer signing from part-timers Romulus was starting to impress as part of an attacking trio alongside Ryan Rowe and Anthony Malbon.

Harriers boss Steve Burr said: "Nathan has trained and is fine – he suffered with a bit of concussion at the weekend that forced him out of the game.

"He's progressing and we are really pleased with how he has developed. He's done terrifically since he came in – which was probably a bit earlier than we anticipated.

"He's taken the opportunity well and is proving to be a handful for teams. If you look at the front three at the minute, we have three lads who have all come from lower down.

"I thought Anthony Malbon and Ryan Rowe also had one of their better games without scoring on Saturday – they put themselves about and worked hard, as you would expect.

"We just want them to get in amongst the goals now."

Harriers captain Keith Briggs will soldier on in tonight's game as he did on Saturday, despite suffering from an abscess.
