Kidderminster Harriers midfielder Kyle Storer could return to the squad for the Blue Square Premier game against Hyde at Aggborough.
Storer has missed five games and just over four weeks after going under the knife but is ahead of schedule, with the initial prognosis of six weeks.
The 25-year-old would most likely be on the bench tonight, but midfield cohort Callum Gittings is pushing for a start after sitting it out on Saturday.
Carrying a groin strain, Gittings made way for Adam Watkins' full debut for Harriers but he replaced the loanee at Ebbsfleet in the second-half.
Striker Nathan Blissett also went off after setting up Harriers' goal in the 1-1 draw with a knock to his shoulder but is hoping to be OK to play.
A point on Saturday made it eight games unbeaten for Steve Burr's men but the Harriers boss respects promoted Hyde, having come across them before.
He said: "I have got a lot of fond memories of Hyde from going there as a player and a manager.
"I think they have done fantastically to get out of the Blue Square North and into this division.
"They are obviously realising how difficult it is but their manager Scott McNiven will have them fired up and ready, I am sure.
"I think it has already shown this season that there are no easy games and a run of good performances can soon push you up the table.
"They will come here and make things very difficult for us."
Harriers will start their FA Cup campaign with a tough trip to league rivals Grimsby in the fourth qualifying round a week on Saturday.
The Mariners moved for Burr before appointing joint bosses Rob Scott and Paul Hurst last year and are a fellow former Football League outfit.
Burr said: "It will be very hard indeed. Anything can happen in the FA Cup but it is as tough a tie as you could get.
"But that is the draw and we have got to get on with it."
