Kidderminster Harriers' loanee Adam Watkins today admitted his time at parent club Luton Town may be coming to an end.

Watkins came to Aggborough for a month at the end of last week and made his Harriers debut as a substitute in Saturday's 3-0 home win over Macclesfield.

His attacking mind is seen as the ideal foil between midfield and the forwards, an aspect seen to be lacking in the current core of boss Steve Burr's squad.

Callum Gittings, Keith Briggs, Jack Byrne and Kyle Storer are more industrious types and provide a solid base to work from, while Watkins goes forward.

Byrne and Storer are both injured but could be back by the end of the month, with Watkins' loan ending after the home game with Gateshead on October 27.

The 21-year-old has spent all of his career at Luton but will be seeking showdown talks with manager Paul Buckle to see if he's surplus to requirements.

Watkins said: "Luton's my club so I would love to get back into the team, but it's not happening at the moment."

Meanwhile, Harriers will travel to either Buxton or Matlock in the third qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup on Monday October 15.

Jerry Gill's side progressed in the competition with a 2-0 victory at Rugby Town last night.
