Harriers told to focus on their own game
Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr today pondered whether to forget the opposition's game to get his side playing their own brand of football.
Harriers are still searching for their first win of the Blue Square Premier season but have gone four games unbeaten, after losing their first five matches.
Next up is Alfreton at the Impact Arena on Saturday and boss Burr wants his side focussing on their own strengths rather than worrying about the hosts.
Burr's men have much ground to make up as they sit bottom of the league but they did the double over Saturday's opponents last season, finishing sixth.
He said: "We always go in to depth and detail into who we are playing against, just to be thorough with the opposition.
"Maybe we should forget that and concentrate on ourselves and what we are doing.
"At the minute, maybe we should just say 'right, that's the team' and go out there and get the win we are looking for."
Harriers will come up against Dan Bradley for the first time since the midfielder made the switch to Alfreton in the summer.
The Reds paid a £2,500 compensation fee to land the 23-year-old under the Bosman ruling and he's been Man of the Match in their last three games.
