Kidderminster Harriers new signing Josh Gowling could make his debut for the club in their Blue Square Premier game away at Braintree.

The free transfer capture from Lincoln signed on transfer deadline day but missed Saturday's 1-1 draw at Barrow as he was not included.

Fellow arrivals midfielder Manny Panther and loan striker Richard Peniket were involved from the bench and are again in the squad tonight.

But Harriers will have to check on midfielders Callum Gittings and James Vincent and striker Nathan Blissett while goalkeeper Danny Lewis is out.

Lewis is still suffering with a groin injury and Gittings is doubtful through illness while Blissett has hurt his knee, the latter two replaced on Saturday.

Vincent is nearly fit after a groin injury that caused him to miss the last two games, with Harriers picking up their first point of the season at Barrow.

That brought to an end a nightmare start of five straight losses and Harriers defender Lee Vaughan has urged his team-mates to build on the result.

He said: "We need to push on now, because we have gone up to Barrow and got ourselves a good point. Now we have got to go on a little run.

"The way we see it is that we are unbeaten in one game now - there's nothing now we can do about the first five games.

"There will always be times when you have a little blip and it's just unfortunate that ours has been the first five.

"We don't have a great deal of room for error now and it's all about picking up points."
