Kidderminster Harriers striker Steve Guinan is the only confirmed injury absentee for the visit of Blue Square Premier title favourites Luton to Aggborough.

Guinan sat out Saturday's season opener at Lincoln with the twisted ankle he suffered in the previous weekend's Worcestershire Senior Cup final.

The 36-year-old is out but strike partner Anthony Malbon is pushing for a start, along with winger Marvin Johnson and midfielder Jack Byrne.

Malbon and Byrne were struggling with a chest infection and hamstring strain respectively before the big kick-off but appeared as substitutes.

Midfielder Kyle Storer is not fit to start but hopes to make the bench tonight after missing the end of the pre-season programme with a knee injury.

Harriers will seek revenge on Luton after the Hatters ended their play-off dreams in the penultimate game of last season with a 1-0 win over them.

Paul Buckle's visitors lost in the play-offs but are highly fancied to go up automatically this time, in what is their fourth season in non-league football.

For Harriers, just making it to the play-offs will do after two near-misses in sixth place but assistant boss Gary Whild is aware of the threat Luton pose.

Whild said: "They have a manager who is working hard to put his stamp on things in pre-season and who will be looking to assert that now.

"He's been able to bring in some very good players and that will make it tough, that goes without saying.

"But from our point of view, it is a chance to see them early on and see where we are compared to them as well as getting a positive result."
