Kidderminster Harriers today started the countdown to their Blue Square Premier campaign by taking the wraps off their new kits for the year ahead.

Mickey Demetriou and Ryan Rowe modelled the home and away strips, emblazoned with returning sponsor 'Hire It' for the first time since 2007.

The Kidderminster-based tool hire company, whose owner John Davies is a lifelong Harriers fan, were the club's shirt sponsors from 2004 to 2007.

'Hire It' last featured on the strip in the FA Trophy final at Wembley and replace OGL Computers, who have just completed a similar deal.

C & S Solicitors, based on Station Hill in Kidderminster, will also feature on the rear of the team's brand new shirts as well as on the shorts.

They will also become the sponsors of the club's main stand at Aggborough, which will be known as the C & S Solicitors Stand.

The new sponsorship package is worth a five-figure sum to the club over the course of an initial two-year period.

Harriers chairman Mark Serrell said: “We are delighted to strike up what is already proving to be a great partnership with another great local firm.

“The club is always doing what it can to help the very heart of the local community, so we are extremely proud.

"Through Hire-It and now C & S Solicitors, we will be spreading the same of two reputable local names around the rest of the country.”

The new Harriers strips will be available in the club shop at Aggborough before and after tomorrow night's friendly at home to Wolves.
