Kidderminster Harriers' out-of-contract defender Luke Jones has returned to Blue Square Premier rivals Mansfield for a second spell.

Jones' deal was up at Aggborough allowing him, as a free agent, to sign a one-year deal with the Stags, where he spent the 2009-10 season.

The 25-year-old was also at Harriers for a second time, first joining in 2008 before leaving for Mansfield and then coming back last summer.

The former Blackburn trainee was one of four out-of-contract Harriers central defenders in Michael Briscoe, Tom Marshall and Tom Sharpe.

Jones said: "I am delighted to come back. I never really wanted to leave the club, so I'm relishing this return."
