Kidderminster Harriers' out-of-contract defender Michael Briscoe is attracting the interest of Blue Square Premier rivals AFC Telford United.

Briscoe's deal is up at Aggborough and he's one of two Harriers stoppers the Bucks are believed to have looked at, including Tom Marshall.

Both are still waiting to hear on their futures with their current club but boss Steve Burr added another centre-back to his ranks last week.

Harriers paid a fee to bring Cheyenne Dunkley in from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League side Hednesford and have other options at the back.

Luke Jones and Tom Sharpe also want deals and Sharpe, who damaged the cruciate ligament in his right knee in January, is recovering well.

Moving to Telford would represent a move into part-time football for both Marshall and Briscoe but Bucks boss Andy Sinton is interested.

He said: "I don't like talking about other people's players but Briscoe is one of four of five in that position that we are interested in.

"I'm not sure what his situation is at Kidderminster. We need another centre-half but we don't have just one target."
