Kidderminster Harriers today confirmed midfielder James Vincent has signed a new one-year contract to keep him at Aggborough for next season.

Vincent has put pen to paper on new terms with the club before joining up with the England C team, where he will be looking to win his first cap.

The national semi-professional side met in Warwick today before heading to Russia for their International Challenge Trophy group game next week.

Fellow Harriers new-boys Marvin Johnson and Anthony Malbon join him in the squad and, like Vincent, their immediate future at club level is secure.

Vincent has spent his first season in the non-league game having come through the ranks at Stockport when they were in the Football League.

The 21-year-old has made 30 appearances for Harriers, scoring three times, and has put a better goal return among his targets for next season.

He said: "I have really enjoyed my time at Kidderminster so far and can't wait to get going again.

"My aim next season is to score more - I think for a midfielder I have a lot of energy and I know I can get more goals."
