Kidderminster Harriers' club doctor Phil Earl will be the first exit from Aggborough this summer after six seasons worth of service to the club.

Earl is leaving Harriers to take up a role on the board of directors at Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central outfit Bedworth.

The facial surgeon first came to the club when Mark Yates was manager and stayed on when current boss Steve Burr arrived in January 2009.

It was Earl who was first on the scene when Anthony Malbon was knocked unconscious during last Saturday's final game of the season.

With Malbon out cold, Earl and physio Gavin Crowe took command until the air ambulance arrived at Aggborough to relieve them after the game.

The striker is just one of many Harriers players Earl has treated since 2006 and Burr today he's lost an asset on his back-room staff.

He said: "Phil is very, very good at his job and has been the complete professional since I have been at the club.

"He gets on extremely well with everybody here and he is going to be missed - there is absolutely no question about that.

"We can't thank him enough for what he's done for us and wish him well in the new challenge he's taking up."
