Kidderminster Harriers striker Anthony Malbon has been given a clean bill of health after returning to the club for an end-of-season debrief.

Malbon had to be air lifted to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital after being knocked unconscious during Saturday's final game of the season.

Fans had to be cleared from the club's Aggborough ground to make way for the air ambulance but the striker was discharged later that night.

And, after a period of rest, the 20-year-old joined the rest of the squad to be addressed by management before signing off for the summer.

Meanwhile, Lee Vaughan will miss the first four games of next season through suspension for the second time in his Harriers career.

The Football Association have confirmed Vaughan has been punished to the fullest extent for his red card in Saturday's curtain call.

The defender was dismissed just three minutes into the second-half of the 3-0 defeat to Mansfield at Aggborough for an elbow on Matt Rhead.

The game was goalless when Vaughan left and 10-man Harriers collapsed afterwards, as they ended up missing on a play-off spot by five points.

The right-back was also sent off against his ex-club AFC Telford earlier in the season and came with a four-match ban when switching in 2010.

His two-year deal, which was set to expire this summer, was replaced by a new contract in February, which ties him to the club until 2014.
