Kidderminster Harriers today prepared to take their biggest away following of the season to Luton for Saturday's promotion showdown.

The club are laying on coaches to 'travel for a tenner' in a 200-plus mile round trip and 450 supporters have already taken them up on their offer.

A fleet of vehicles, which has reached nine, will leave from Aggborough at 11am before the match, but fans must buy a travel pass before matchday.

Harriers are just two points ahead of their hosts in the last play-off spot but Luton still have a game in hand, at Gateshead next Tuesday.

However, Saturday's crunch clash at Kenilworth Road could go a long way towards deciding the final table in the Blue Square Premier.

And Harriers assistant manager Gary Whild today joined the call for the away army to grow in ranks and make the trip.

Not since the corresponding fixture last season have the club had such support on the road and Whild admits it's "fantastic."

He said: "The following away from home is always good, regardless of the number, and that is appreciated by all of the lads.

"It's a case of the more the merrier, if you like – it would be fantastic to take a huge number down to Luton.

"It goes without saying that the more we have behind us, the better."
